Women’s Handball European Championship: Portugal loses to Poland and continues the competition at risk

The Portuguese team is competing in the European Championship for the second time, after debuting in 2008, and faces France in the final round, in a phase in which the first two from each pool pass, so that the task of the Portuguese team appears to be very difficult.

The Portuguese women’s handball team lost again today in Group C of the preliminary round of the European Championship, after being defeated by Poland 22-21, leaving them in a complicated situation to progress.

In Basel, Switzerland, the Portuguese team was already losing 11-10 at half-time, having always remained close to the Polish team on the scoreboard, but without being able to get ahead of it, keeping the goal behind at the end.
